waterjet cutting
Waterjet applications such as marble, granite, porcelain, metal, or glass, use abrasive grit (garnet sand) mixed with a fine stream of water at 60,000 psi. Directed by a CAD/CAM computer expert, the waterjet cuts with tremendous accuracy (.005), outstanding edge quality, and consistency piece after piece. Designs are almost limitless. Stone deterioration, common in conventional cutting methods, is virtually non-existent allowing for detailing never before available.
